Hey guys in this video we will demonstrated how to drain the coolant antifreeze on bmw e46. I can only find the block drain plug or the coolant temp sensor and a means of drainage. Lower radiator hose by rein 11531436408. I am aware that the radiator has a drain plug but that seems like it would only drain a portion of the system.

Pull out the clip that holds the expansion tank to the mounting plate. Place an empty three gallon bucket under the right side of your engine near the suspension sway bar. I began my rebuild when i did a compression test and noticed i had poor compression in cylinders 2 6 about 142 psi the bottom of the service limit. Remove the drain plug on the passenger side of the engine block and drain the coolant out of the block. 1 gallon of bmw antifreeze 82141467704. Once coolant has stopped dripping reinstall the radiator drain plugs.
